This should* be interesting

Reading age of 10

I have taken to reading recentley, you know those paper things, books! Like movies, but not as fun? Got it?

The only books I have ever read in my adult life have been educational, never been one for fiction, usually something revolving around the foolishness of religion, Darwinism or psychological topics.

Well not much has changed in that respect, I want to get better acquainted with psychology, with my current limited knowledge centred mainly around the manipulation of people, well women to be more specific.

A lot of those behaviours were fairly natural (I guess they are for everyone), particularly surrounding manipulation though in my case, but some light reading may have refined those techniques a little and made me more comfortable putting them into practise.

Well, now I want to focus my energy on getting a broader understanding of the topic, when people ask me what I would have liked to do at Uni, they get the same two answers from me. Psychology or Economics, yea I guess everyone says the first and its a bit of a cliché, but in fairness it is a topic that is largely unavoidable if you are… alive? so it makes sense to invest a little time here.

I might even summarise some of the material here and review it later, my brain absorbs things better that way.

Where am I starting, well, not at the beginning actually, There is some Freud I have always fancied touching upon :) so Studies on Hysteria is coming first.

I have acquired an almost endless reading list in the last couple of years, but do please make any suggestions if you have them. Particularly on the basics of psychology as well as suggestion and association or anything if its amazing :)
