Epic Journey

Going on my most epic journey today and possibly my longest!

Its amazing what has changed in the last year or so, I would love to relive my best moments in Krakow!

Two weeks until I land back in Poland, what happens after that is anyones guess.

Enjoyable England

I have enjoyed my brief stay, a very quick trip around Leeds, Harrogate, and York giving Anna a taste of pretty England. I am rather fond of this country, well I enjoy looking at it anyway.

I might stick some photos from my travels on  here but they are unfortunately mainly of me!

I raced back to my home town of Barton for a pub quiz (we won and accepted our free beer) and yesterday drove to Manchester for some work and back to my sisters to prepare for the Scotland trip with the old man.

I have been practising my European driving style recently and really upset a few people on the road, not experienced any road rage yet though!

Will probably have some time for updating this stuff now…

Maybe.

Easter Apocalypse

I experienced the Polish Easter Apocalypse the other day.

I am in England at the minute though, heading back to Kraków this evening! About time too! I have a flight booked back to England in a couple of weeks which I arranged before this unplanned visit!

My next trip will probably not be until September so If you are in Bartonia I will probably see you!

Anyway, I had never experienced a Polish religious holiday until Easter, 90% of the humans I know went to their home towns or families houses and everything was shut. I mean EVERYTHING, apart from “Alkoholes” I did the only thing I could. Bought a ridiculous volume of alcohol to entertain my guests during this very quiet time.

I’m going to have to be prepared for the next one of these holidays.

The end of an era

Corelogic SAMSUNG SGH-D600

Well as many of you know, the lady I have been involved with for approximately five years has finally had enough of me. Well in reality we knew this a long time ago… But either way, I decided it would be nice to let her attend the family Christmas rather than spending it on her lonesome.

She was approximately 20% as appreciative as she should have been (I’m not talking about her attendance now, I did also provide some lovely Christmas gifts) and it involved me doing a lot of driving.

In addition to this, and on a completely separate note, my carrot dreams never came true, not to worry, I will save them for a later date.

Either way, I won’t be moaning about that any more…. much. On an even more positive note, I am leaving the country in about 60 hours.

Hurray!
