I like my stupid titles, heard a bang outside today and went out to find a pheasant laying on the floor, it was still warm and only a head injury. We presume it died from hitting the house and not any horrible diseases. Just to make sure we cooked and ate it. I think it is the only animal I have ever eaten that died of “natural causes”
Back to Poland tomorrow, only an 11 hour mission, I can’t wait!
I woke up this morning and enjoyed a bit of death. I caught and killed a chicken, well a rooster actually. It was pretty messy it flapped around after I removed its head and I got more blood on my clothes and face than I would normally like. I then plucked it and chopped it up nice! It will be in tomorrows soup. Next job is to milk a goat, just for fun! – Turns out it is too cold for milking goats, it was minus 10 last night and the milk had frozen in its nipples.
I might put the video on here of my chicken adventure but it’s a little graphic. I left the original sound on the video for a change, I thought it might be nice.

I headed to Slovakia to visit some friends, they were having something of a village “pig party” I will add some photos here eventually and hopefully some video clips!

My train journey was a bit annoying! I had to go a rather odd route and it took me about 11 hours in the end, but I got to meet some interesting random folk!
