I have mainly been consuming Pierogi for the last few days after acquiring a huge stockpile from a departing Krakowian. I also landed piles of alcohol, Christmas based decorations, a lamp and a pile of other stuff. It almost looks like someone lives in this place even though none of the stuff is actually mine… I just need to take care of the structural work now!
This is the holiest of hors d'oeuvres – a pierogi with the image of Christ burned on. According to its owner, Donna Lee, the apparition appeared on the appetizer as she cooked her dinner on Palm Sunday. I have spent all of the cash I could find in IKEA a few days ago, completely by accident. I only went to buy a sheet. That place is positively evil, handy though!
In other news – there was some more generic Krakow entertainment the other day, Wianki, not my cup of tea but the kids seem to love it and I did see some rather nice fireworks and a hot air balloon out the window which broke up my cleanathon. All my guests finally left so it was time to sort the place out!
