I woke up this morning and enjoyed a bit of death. I caught and killed a chicken, well a rooster actually. It was pretty messy it flapped around after I removed its head and I got more blood on my clothes and face than I would normally like. I then plucked it and chopped it up nice! It will be in tomorrows soup. Next job is to milk a goat, just for fun! – Turns out it is too cold for milking goats, it was minus 10 last night and the milk had frozen in its nipples.
I might put the video on here of my chicken adventure but it’s a little graphic. I left the original sound on the video for a change, I thought it might be nice.

Nowadays people think – the meat in tescoes is just the meat and has never been taken of any animal. When they see killing animals, they do not like it, they like just eating meat. it is strange, is not it? Roosters were just a part of food chain…

to everyone to know, there were 4 roosters in 1 garden. They did not like each othe because they had to share theyr hens. Only 1 rooster could survive!!! – it is still alive and happy having such a lot of hens.

I now retract my previous comments… i wish I hadn’t seen the video… i felt sorry for the poor chicken/rooster… esp when it’s ‘friend’ came over to watch it die… i am now going to go and cry in a corner!!
